The company was acquired by Squires-Sanders in 1963. In march 1968, E.T.Clegg Associates Inc. bought back the Clegg division from Squires-Sanders. E.T.Clegg Associates was sold to International Signal and Control Corporation (ISC) in 1971. At the same time, Ed Clegg joined ISC as director of communications research, Clegg division. It appears that Clegg stopped manufacturing ham radio equipment sometime around 1980, and disappeared completely from the market within a year or so thereafter. Ed Clegg, W2LOY, went silent key in 2001 at the age of 80.
