The microphone is switchable for use as a speaker-mike, which is very useful
in a noisy vehicle. The DX was made in three versions, where version three was
named DXCC. Version two was basically the same as version one except for the
lack of scanning speed control and attenuator and an added frequency calibration
trimmer on the front panel.
These versions were the third, fourth and fifth "Coffeewarmer".
