Additional info: Some changes from version 1 include electronic RX/TX switching, a new PLL,
a 5-pin mike connector and a channel 9 button with a LED indicator. The mike
must now be plugged in for RX audio to be heard.
The successor, version 3, was marketed under the Uniden brand.
